Experience and Training:
Before becoming a veterinarian, I have always been a pet owner. Companion animals enrich the quality of my life. They give me unconditional love and support. Ultimately, they are members of my family.
When I was younger, I had a dog named “Jack-Jack.” One day, he stopped eating and became lethargic. My whole family was frustrated and desperately seeking veterinary medical attention. After multiple veterinary visits and diagnostic tests, he was diagnosed with Valley Fever. He was treated with medication and lived for another 6 years with my family. I still remember how much I worried about him and how difficult the time was. I also remember the vet’s help and the relief that I felt when my dog started to respond to the medication. That was the time when I decided to become a veterinarian. I was determined to practice high standard veterinary medicine and provide the exceptional quality of care that I received during the hardship. This motivation helped me go through 4 years of vet school and become a veterinarian.
